In Ocarina of Time, Link learns this song from Saria after he breaks the curse on the Great Deku Tree. When this is done, Link can go through the Lost Woods and find Saria by listening to where the music plays the loudest. Ironically, Saria's Song is the Song of Healing backwards. The notes for this song in the game are (C button(s)) down, right, left, down, right, left. But the actual notes for this song are F, A, B, F, A, B.

The song has a couple cameos within the game. One being when Link dances with Boonoru, the song plays in the background. Another being in the Woods of Mystery, this song plays in the background.

The most obvious cameo in the game is at the end, where Saria's Song is played after all of the credits have passed.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Edit

The song appears in the background of the Sacred Grove, but with a new instrumentilization. It is occasionally played by Skull Kid When Link battles him.

During the fight with Ook, The six note melody plays in a loop.
